Faulty products 30-day short-term right A full refund may be available where goods are faulty.
Refund method Original payment method Refunds are issued without unnecessary delay.

We want returns to be straightforward. The conditions below apply to consumer purchases and do not reduce your statutory rights under Irish law.

Changing your mind about an online order

For most goods purchased online or by phone, you have 14 days from the date you receive the goods to tell us that you wish to cancel the purchase. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

You do not need to give a reason for cancelling during the cooling-off period.

  • Contact us before returning the goods.
  • Include your name, contact details, order number and proof of purchase.
  • Package the goods securely to prevent damage in transit.
  • Return all parts, accessories, manuals and original packaging where available.
You may inspect goods in the same way you would in a shop. We may reduce the refund if handling beyond what is reasonably necessary has reduced the value of the goods.

How to return an item

Contact us first so we can confirm the correct return procedure and help avoid delays when your parcel arrives.

1. Contact us Email or call with your order number and reason for return.
2. Pack securely Protect the product and include your details and proof of purchase.
3. Send or deliver Return the parcel to Puresoft Water Solutions in Slane, Co. Meath.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost and safe return of the goods unless we agree otherwise. Keep proof of postage.

Refunds

Where a valid online cancellation applies, we will refund the price paid for the goods together with the cost of standard delivery. Any additional amount paid for an upgraded or priority delivery service is not refundable beyond the cost of standard delivery.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless you agree to another method. We may withhold the refund until the returned goods are received or you provide evidence that they have been sent back.

Once the return has been received and checked, we aim to process the refund promptly and within the time required by law.

Exchanges

Contact us before returning an item for exchange. Once the returned goods have been received and checked, we will arrange the replacement where stock is available.

Additional delivery charges may apply to change-of-mind exchanges. This does not apply where the goods supplied were faulty, incorrect or not as described.

Items that may not qualify for change-of-mind return

The statutory cooling-off right does not apply to certain products, including goods that are made to order, personalised, or unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

A change-of-mind exclusion does not remove your rights where a product is faulty, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods

Contact us promptly if a product is faulty, damaged on arrival, not fit for purpose, not as described or different from what you ordered. Include your order details, a description of the issue and photographs where useful.

Within 30 days

Where goods are faulty, you may have the right to end the contract and receive a full refund. You may choose a repair or replacement instead where that is your preferred solution.

After 30 days

You can generally choose between a repair and replacement, provided the chosen solution is possible and proportionate. The remedy must be completed free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.

A refund or price reduction may be available where the fault is serious, or where a repair or replacement is not possible, is not completed within a reasonable time, or does not resolve the issue.

Puresoft remains responsible for the remedy A manufacturer’s warranty is additional protection and does not replace your statutory rights against the business that sold you the product. We will also cover reasonable return costs where goods are faulty.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies available to consumers under Irish consumer law.

Consumer rights depend on the circumstances of each purchase and the nature of the issue. Contact us directly and we will assess the matter fairly.
